Vision, Mission & Values

Vision

Another place to belong in Tokyo — beyond home and work.

Not home — the first place. Not work — the second. But another place to belong. The American sociologist Ray Oldenburg called it the “third place.”

Time spent with people you trust, with your title set aside, makes life richer. Yet in fast-paced Tokyo, places like that are hard to find.

One by one, we are creating that other place for the people who live and work in Tokyo.

Mission

Make Tokyo’s nights freer, and finer.

We refine every detail of space, time and hospitality to create places — starting in Roppongi — where people can truly unwind with the people who matter.

Night is when people come back to themselves. That is why we believe in places where you can relax without minding the next table or the clock.

Values

Five things we hold dear.

  1. 01

    Privacy First

Protecting our guests is our first act of hospitality.

Our guests’ time, relationships and information come first. Everything we do starts there.

  2. 02

    Craft the Night

We design the night — down to light, sound, scent and temperature.

From the texture of materials to the angle of the lights and the air as the door opens, we build every hour from the details up.

  3. 03

    Quiet Hospitality

Close at hand when called. Otherwise, only a presence.

The stars are always our guests and the people with them. We step in only when we are needed.

  4. 04

    Own the Place

Everyone thinks and acts as the owner of the place.

Whatever the role or experience, we think, propose and act as if the place were our own. That is where our next venue begins.

  5. 05

    Grow Like an Oak

Put down roots, and grow places that are loved more with time.

Rather than chasing trends, we nurture places and relationships that deepen with every visit — built to last, like an oak.
